No human
heals alone
A Simple Mind was born out of years of study, experience, falling down and getting back up, love for people — and above all, the deep understanding that many of the things we call “symptoms” are often a body and nervous system asking for safety, connection, and meaning again.
On this page, you’ll find experiences shared by clients who allowed me to walk alongside a part of their journey.
Not because healing comes from perfect therapy or diplomas alone — but because real transformation is often felt in the moments someone finally feels safe, seen, understood, and less alone.
For me, therapy is ultimately not about “fixing” people.
It’s about exploring together.
Slowing down.
Becoming aware.
And slowly finding your way back home to yourself again.
And maybe most importantly:
behind all the knowledge and methods, there is still simply a human being.
Someone trying to sit beside you with attention, honesty, compassion…
and sometimes a little humor too
Try to keep your mind simple.

“Therapy with Sam feels like landing in a warm bath.
A safe haven, where you can slowly come home to yourself again.
I wasn’t suddenly ‘healed’ after five sessions, but I did become much more aware of my patterns. Honestly, I had never really put my inner world into words before — and that alone was incredibly eye-opening. Now I recognize much faster: ‘Ah… I’m slipping back into my old survival mode again.’ And from there, I can take a little distance and gently move back toward my healthier side. It’s still a process though… and that’s okay.
The sessions felt really nourishing. Everything was welcome. I usually wrote down what I wanted to talk about, but often I simply followed whatever came up in the moment. Sam has a beautiful way of sensing where the real pain sits — and what you need. Sometimes we went very deep and a lot of emotion came up. Sometimes it was lighter and more creative. Sometimes it was simply a very clarifying conversation. I genuinely looked forward to every session and always biked home feeling calmer and more connected.
I would recommend Sam to anyone who wants to work on themselves in a gentle and compassionate way. No pressure, no heavy therapeutic drama. Just a lot of clarity, compassion, insightful questions, and above all: deep understanding. But also know that a lot can rise to the surface… and that is actually the beautiful part. That’s where healing lives. Sam guides you through it with great care.”
