In 2025, I was admitted with great enthusiasm to Dr. Gabor Maté’s two-year Compassionate Inquiry Trainee Program

By now, I have successfully completed the first year — including the necessary self-reflection, moments of discomfort, meaningful insights, and the occasional hard ‘ouch.’

Compassionate Inquiry is a body- and awareness-oriented approach that does not so much ask what is wrong, but rather explores with curiosity what was once needed. The work and vision of Dr. Maté have long been a source of inspiration for me — precisely because he places humanity, gentleness, and honesty above labels and quick fixes.
